2012 Step Afrika! Auditions

Step Afrika! does extensive national and international touring and hires full-time company members on an 11-month contract, commencing in the Fall (August). New hires must be willing to relocate to Washington, DC. Step Afrika! conducts auditions in Washington, DC, in the Spring/Summer of each year but accepts applications and audition tapes on an on-going basis.

The company specializes in stepping as well as South African dance forms and performers with considerable experience in either of these areas are strongly encouraged to audition. Talented performers in other dance forms (i.e. Tap, West African, Modern, or Hip-Hop) and those with strengths such as percussionists and/or vocalists should also audition.
