In order to be eligible for the Step Afrika! Scholars Program, one must:

• Be enrolled as an undergraduate student at the time of application and award
• Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
• All majors are eligible
• Attend a college or university that has hosted a Step Afrika! performance in 2011-12 academic school year
• Have attended a Step Afrika! performance
• Complete and deliver/postmark all application materials no later than May 1, 2012

In honor of our Founder C. Brian Williams, one scholarship will be awarded to a Howard University undergraduate. In order to be eligible for the Founder's Scholarship, one must:

• Be enrolled as an undergraduate student at Howard University at the time of application and award
• Have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
• All majors are eligible
• Have attended a Step Afrika! performance
• Complete and deliver/postmark all application materials no later than May 1, 2012

Your application will not be considered complete unless it includes each of the following and is postmarked by May 1, 2012.

• Application
• Essay
• Letter of Recommendation from an instructor or community leader (can also be mailed directly to Step Afrika!)
• Official Transcript
• Proof of Enrollment
• 2-Minute Video Submission
