Chrystal ‘Chrys’ Vaughan

Chrystal Vaughan is the Manager of Events and Special Projects at Step Afrika!, providing administrative and logistical support across performances, convenings, partnerships, and internal projects. She assists with coordination, scheduling, and project execution, supporting the team’s work across multiple initiatives.

A native Washingtonian, Chrystal holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Professional Theater from North Carolina A&T and has worked with organizations including the Hip Hop Theatre Festival, Atlas Performing Arts Center, and Arena Stage, contributing to arts and cultural programming across the region.
