Support Step Afrika!

For an incredible three decades, Step Afrika! has successfully honored, shared, and expanded the tradition of stepping while fostering unity and cultural awareness worldwide. Our journey has seen us engage truly diverse audiences and educate countless individuals about the rich heritage of stepping and African American traditions.

“What started as a passion for stepping and a desire to connect cultures has turned into a movement that resonates with people around the world.”

– Step Afrika! Founder and Executive Producer C. Brian Williams

This remarkable journey wouldn’t have been possible without supporters like you. As we prepare for the final leg of our 30th Anniversary Season, we humbly ask for your support to continue this vital work.

In 2024, we brought The Migration: Reflections on Jacob Lawrence back to the stage, celebrated our 30th Anniversary in South Africa, and toured Lesotho, Eswatini, and Senegal. The next chapter promises even more: impactful programming in schools, dynamic international tours, and new initiatives right here in the heart of Washington, DC.

Your generosity will make a profound difference in the lives of countless individuals who benefit from our programs and performances. You can easily make your contribution here, on our website, or by sending a check payable to Step Afrika! to 1333 H Street NE, Washington DC 20002.

Thank you for being a part of our 30-year journey. Together, we’ll continue stepping boldly into the future.
